Editing without losing your place

Formula and batch autosave reconcile saved row identifiers more reliably. Rapid additions and deletions are less likely to create duplicates or bring removed rows back. Batch editing keeps existing rows mounted, so unrelated saves no longer rebuild lot selectors. Equipment uses automatic saving with visible saved, pending, invalid and failed states.

Inventory corrections you can review

Ingredient and packaging stock have separate application status, Apply and Undo controls. Saving a completed batch records changed allocations; apply the relevant inventory section to record the outstanding difference. Repeated uses of one physical lot are combined in Required. When an ingredient is split across different tracked lots, enter an actual weight for every lot.

A stock correction needs a reason

For an existing ingredient or packaging lot, use Inventory → Adjust stock with the new quantity, reason and optional comment. General info no longer silently changes an existing stock balance. Movements retain their history. Bulk archive and restore also preserve the underlying formulation and ingredient data.

Charts and controlled PIF drafts

Composition, phases, functions, version changes and cost variations have clearer charts. Product → Used in batches opens related production records directly. Mobile forms, document actions and history tables are easier to use. PIF drafts preserve the formula version’s procedure and equipment requirements, use readable formatting and explicit missing values. Readiness checks include formula total, evaluations, IFRA category, process evidence, CPSR, GMP and claims evidence where required. Unresolved required gaps prevent approval; a generated draft is not a safety decision.

Try it on your next controlled change

Edit a draft, save the intended Formula/Product Versions, review the actual equipment in the Batch Equipment tab and check both inventory sections. Generate a PIF draft only from the intended controlled data, then inspect Gaps before document review. Professional provides stock warnings; per-lot tracking requires Premium or Enterprise.
