Before you start

Saved ingredients with INCI/CAS and a saved formula.

Run the review

  1. Open the Ingredient’s Compliance information. Check the source, matched identifiers, CosIng restrictions and any ambiguity.
  2. Open the saved Formula → Compliance. Set Markets shown to the markets you need. Start with Critical, Warnings and Need data.
  3. Expand EU regulatory — CosIng. Compare Current in formula with the full restriction text, product type and conditions. A limit can depend on use and cannot always be reduced to one number.
  4. Expand US/CA Regulatory when relevant. Read the applicable rule and source; this view is not a complete review of every market requirement.

Resolve a finding

  1. Correct wrong INCI/CAS, mixture composition, dose or product-use data in the source records; save and review again.
  2. Use Acknowledge or Dismiss only with a documented reason after review. These actions do not remove the underlying legal restriction.

Check

No listed restriction is not “safe at any dose”. Unknown identity, missing composition, unavailable analysis or ambiguous matching must remain unresolved. Working copies use current data; saved Formula Versions and generated PIF documents retain recorded results.
